Chapter Eleven:  Using Nice Words

Read Chapter 11 of Encouraging Hands, Encouraging Hearts prior to study.

1. Read Proverbs 4:24 aloud, "Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips." (NIV)

3. There are many times to apply encouraging words, for example:

8. What is Encouragement Playback? Let’s practice. Share a compliment about the person on you right with the person on your left. Afterwards, have the people who heard the compliment, share it with the person the compliment concerned. How did you feel when you heard the second-hand compliment?
